What documents do I need to submit when I request a building permit?
A building permit is required any time you erect, construct, enlarge, remodel, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, demolish, or change the type of occupancy of any building, structure or utility. The process to obtain a permit varies depending upon the complexity of the project, as do the specific documents required for review.
