Some residential areas of the City have homeowners associations (HOA).  These are nonprofit membership organizations with boards that set policy and direction. Most HOAs hire property management companies to maintain their common community property, such as swimming pools, neighborhood parks, and the fencing around the subdivision. Property management will also enforce the neighborhood covenants.

The City keeps a list of the property management for each HOA on the City website. Go to the main page of the City website, www.ThorntonCO.gov, and type “HOA’ in the search box.
