Can I rent a room at the Active Adult Center for a meeting or event?

The Active Adult Center has a variety of rooms that may be rented for meetings and private functions, primarily on the weekends.  The per hour cost of renting the facility includes the cost of a staff person, which is a requirement for all rentals. Set-up and cleanup times must be included in the starting and ending time of your rental.

To reserve a room, a City of Thornton Facility Agreement form must be completed, as well as payment of the facility damage deposit. If you plan to serve alcohol, you must complete an application for a City of Thornton Alcohol Permit. Applications for alcohol permits must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the rental date. Full payment is due for all rentals at least 30 days prior to the rental date.

For more information, call the Senior Center at 303-255-7850, or visit the Active Adult Center facility rental webpage.
