Where can I properly dispose of medications or learn about the Medication Take Back program?

The City of Thornton, in partnership with the DEA, offers two events yearly for citizens to drop off expired and over the counter medications for proper disposal. These events are offered once in the spring and once in the fall. If you need immediate disposal please visit the Colorado Medication Take Back Program page. (Sites in Thornton include Walgreens at 120th & Colorado, Thornton PD (coming soon) and Genoa Pharmacy at 8989 Huron St.)
