Where can I find information about city open space areas?

Category: Open Space

The City of Thornton has numerous Open Space areas for our residents to enjoy.  Open Space includes land set aside for the preservation of wildlife, wetlands and other sensitive ecosystems, trail and view corridors and buffers, and natural, archaeological, historical and cultural resources.

A Park, Open Space and Trail User Map can be viewed on the city's webpage at this link:  Park Finder

If you wish additional information on the open space program, please call 303-255-7831.
