The Traffic Engineering and Operations Division of the Infrastructure Department accepts requests from Thornton citizens for the installation of additional streetlighting. Once a request has been received, it is investigated and evaluated according to need, city standards, and available resources. Residents immediately affected by a proposed new streetlight must also agree to its installation.
