Water plant tours help educate students and the public on the value and challenges of water treatment and supply. Tours are provided upon staff and plant availability. Typically, tours are given to provide a general overview of the drinking water treatment processes but can vary in content if requested by the tour coordinator before the actual tour.

Tours take about 1.5 hours and are scheduled to start between 8:00 am and 10:30 am or between 1:00 pm and 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The following information should be provided when requesting a tour:

1. How many people?
2. Age group?
3. Background of interest?
