What Volunteer Thornton does:
- Process volunteer intake and screening
- Connect approved volunteers to available city volunteer programs
- Help volunteers navigate city volunteer programs
- Help place community service volunteers over 18 years old.
- Coordinate the annual Volunteer Appreciation event
Volunteer Thornton does not do the following:
- “On-call” volunteer services
- Community Service hours for youth under the age of 18
