The responsibilities of the Risk Management Office are to manage the city's insurance programs, deliver employee safety, and direct the city's emergency management program. Risk Management oversees all citizen insurance claims against the city and coordinates the city's overall response to disasters.
Risk Management hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The office is located on the third floor of Thornton City Hall at 9500 Civic Center Drive, near Thornton Parkway and I-25.
