How do I register to vote?

To register to vote you must be 18 years of age as of the date of the next election, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Colorado at least twenty-two days prior to the election.

You can register to vote in any City Clerk's office in the county where you reside, any Adams County Motor Vehicle office, any Driver's License Bureau, or online at www.govotecolorado.com.

The Thornton City Clerk's office is located on the second floor of the Thornton City Hall, 9500 Civic Center Drive, and is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For further information, or to verify if you are currently registered, please visit the Adams County Website, or you may call the Adams County Elections Department at 720-523-6500 or the Thornton City Clerk's office at 303-538-7230.
