WaterSmart uses customer averages and water use patterns to identify unusual water usage patterns or potential leaks. These usage categories are generally accurate, but in some cases, they may not reflect what is actually happening. For instance, someone watering in new sod may have a potential leak identified when they are watering in a different way.
