Streets and sidewalks are designed to allow people, pets and vehicles to travel safely. Streets and sidewalks cannot be blocked with basketball hoops, soccer or hockey goals, landscaping materials, overgrown bushes, or other items.

Permits allowing a dumpster or storage container to be stored on the street temporarily are available; contact Traffic Engineering.

To request a code compliance officer inspect a property for City Code violations, submit a My Thornton request and provide as much information as possible.
