What is the Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.)?

C.E.R.T. is a national program that educates volunteers on disaster preparedness for the specific hazards that may affect their communities. Volunteers are trained in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
