Where does Thornton’s water come from and does the treated water contain lead?

Thornton’s water supply comes from the snowpack in the Rocky Mountains. Water is diverted into ditches from the South Platte River and Clear Creek and stored in our reservoirs. Lead is not present in our source water or in the water after it leaves our water treatment plants.
